This lathe is in excellent working condition. I have owned about a dozen of these lathes over the last decade and this one probably has the least use of any I have owned. The motor runs like new, it runs very strong and smooth compared to most used unimats, it doesn't vibrate or make excess noise. The spindle turns very smooth and true with no play in the bearings. The chuck jaws and tightening holes show no signs of use at all. There is no visible wear at all on the bed guide rods and the carriage, cross slide, and tailstock screws turn smoothly and easily with no excess play. The carriage and tailstock are unpainted and show no signs of having ever been painted but the rest of the paint is excellent with almost no wear or chips. The motor currently is belted directly to the spindle so it runs very fast and will need another belt to the reducer pulley to run it at slower more normal speeds, the belt that is on it is in good condition. This unit is complete with original wood storage case and comes with a tool holder, tailstock chuck with key, milling column, milling vise, chuck tightening bars, two face plate dogs and a grinding wheel arbor. This is one of the best conditioned unimats you are likely to find, it clearly was used very little and still even has the original packing slip in the box. Somewhere I do have a manual for this and will include it if I find it.
