    Ruby Tuesday
Vintage ring with natural ruby & diamonds, around 1970
    description
Over the centuries, jewelry was not worn for decoration alone. Rather, it was always a means of communication: in part immediately understandable, in part encrypted, it often transmitted messages of a romantic nature. Precious stones in particular were used as carriers of meaning. In the language of precious stones, for example, the ruby was a symbol of passionate love. Diamonds, in turn, were understood as symbols of eternity due to their great hardness. A dark red, natural facet cut ruby is the protagonist of this ring. It is set in the middle of the ring head and is surrounded by fine white diamonds, mostly of flawless quality. The settings are completely reserved, because the 14-carat white gold used here takes a back seat to the gemstones and presents them elegantly and unobtrusively. The classic entourage ring, which was created around 1970, is particularly suitable as an engagement ring or a love gift for a special person thanks to its romantic symbolism. The fine jewel found us from Nuremberg and is forged by hand. The unique ring is delivered with a detailed report from the German Society for Gemstone Valuation Idar-Oberstein.

    about us
    Hofer antique jewelry
arose from the joy of beautiful things. It all started with my grandma, who was a lady who liked to adorn herself. She could tell something about each of her pieces of jewelery and when she opened her jewelery box, a world opened up: fond memories and touching stories connected with the pieces marked the highlights of a lived life. Based on these experiences, over the years a passion grew in me to deal with these small and always very personal objects.
