These pegs were designed for professional and amateur cribbage players.
1. The cross hatched tops minimizes slipping.
2. Non-Flared tops allow pegs to stand straight when used in close adjoining board holes. Large headed tops may cause a binding problem when placed in closely spaced holes.
3. The ‘stepped” tips allow easy insertion and removal during play. Smooth sided tips may get jammed or stuck in the holes and potentially “crack” wooden boards when moved.
