This NAGU 10600 Wood Turning Chuck is a four jaw, self-centering, geared chuck and ideal to fit 1" x 8tpi lathe spindles.  The anti-release spindle lock is reversible and increases stability. One-handed geared action capability gives you a powerful and positive grip, and thus piece of mind while you use your lathe. The small size and light weight minimizes the load on small spindles and bearings. Fast operating action makes this set ideal for production turning of smaller pieces. Advanced features, like the automatic jaw safety stop and copper impregnated jaw slides, increase safety and effectiveness.
