    Description

    This auction is for a Mid Century--1950s or 1960s- Black Onyx Cocktail Ring, Brooch and Earrings. The ring is marked inside 10 KT GF and is a size 9. It is a statement piece measuring approximately one inch in diameter at its widest points. This ring is a 3 dimentional, 3 tiered work of art; definitely a conversation piece!! There are 4 round black onlyx stones which are bevel set and wind upward in tiers; the top tier has onyx swirled by rhinestones.
    Also included is a matching onyx brooch and screw back earrings. These pieces were purchased separately at another estate sale; I decided to sell these vintage pieces as a set because they match quite well and look so attractive together. The brooch and earrings remind me of sunflowers. They are not marked. Both are set in gold-tone metal. The brooch has several rhinestones which adds a nice touch of sparkle to the piece.
    Please note, I am not sure if any of the onyx in this set is real as I am not a jewelry expert. I do know that back in those days, it was not uncommon to use precious stones in costume jewelry.  I am selling this set AS IS.
