M A Hadley FEATHERED CHIEF Firewater PITCHER JUG and Faux Measuring Cup

Description

This is a delightful signed M.A. Hadley FIREWATER PITCHER and FAUX MEASURING CUP hand decorated in Hadley's charming FEATHERED CHIEF motif.
The PITCHER is 5 inches tall, the opening is 5-1/2 inches across and the bottom diameter is 3-1/2 inches. Spout to handle is 7-1/2 inches across.
The Chief's dominant color is blue, his feather headdress and cheek are colored pink and around the bottom of the pitcher are blue and pink flames snaking up the side.
Inside, just under the rim, is the word "FIREWATER." On the opposite side are faux (or fake) measuring cup increments of 2, 4 and 6. One would think that those numbers stand for cups. Actually, 2 is 1 cup, 4 is just over 2 cups, 6 is 3-1/2 cups and it is 4-1/3 cups to the tippy-top, the pitcher's full capacity.
Spouts can be tricky but liquids pour nicely from this pitcher's spout. This pitcher is perfect for keeping liquids cold or warm on your table, be it milk, juice or firewater! Your children will be enchanted to find this intriguing pitcher on display in your kitchen!
This vintage stoneware piece is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks or damage.
